ANÁLISE DA SEGURANÇA SÍSMICA NA UNIDADE DE EXTRAÇÃO DE URÂNIO DE CAETITÉ - BAHIA

Resumo

Este trabalho investiga o comportamento sísmico dos diques de um sistema decontenção de rejeitos de urânio, localizado em Caetité - Bahia, utilizando métodos estático,pseudo-estático e dinâmico. A análise dinâmica foi executada com base em quatro sismosartificiais, para cada seção analisada, gerados a partir de funções de densidade de espectrode potência normalizadas para aceleração horizontal máxima de 0,1g. Os valores dosfatores de segurança computados em análises de estabilidade de taludes foramrelativamente altos, descartando a possibilidade de ocorrência de deslocamentospermanentes significativos devido a carregamentos sísmicos.
