METABOLITOS ALELOQUÍMICOS DE LANTANA CAMARA L.: POTENCIAL PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE BIOHERBICIDA – REVISÃO
Resumo
A alelopatia pode oferecer excelente oportunidade para incrementar pesquisas com novos compostos químicas com propriedades destacadas e menores impactos sobre o ambiente e o ser humano do que os compostos sintéticos de uso corrente na agricultura. A alelopatia é considerada o fator mais importante no sucesso da invasão e propagação de plantas exóticas, e a espécie de planta L. camara, é considerada mundialmente uma das principais plantas exóticas invasoras, o que sugere a possibilidade de estudos para o desenvolvimento de bioherbicida. Os fitoquímicos isolados a partir de extratos de L. camara já demonstram apresentar atividade farmacológica, citotóxica, bactericida, nematicida, fungicida e herbicida. O objetivo do trabalho foi revisar os efeitos alelopáticos da planta L. camara e seus compostos fitotóxicos envolvidos na bioatividade. L. camara apresenta compostos naturais com potencial para o desenvolvimento de bioherbicida, especialmente os terpenos 1,8-cineol e Lantadene, entretanto a manutenção de linhas de pesquisa é indispensável para resultados práticos.Referências
